We will not undertake any face to face meeting or allow any employee to attend the office where they or a member of their household is self-isolating or showing symptoms of COVID-19. Every possible precaution is being taken to reduce the risk of spreading Coronavirus.
House sales, house moves, viewings and valuations are all available. Read on to learn how we have adapted our services to make sure your sale or purchase can proceed in a safe yet relaxed manner.
The office is open for business, however for the time being our front door will remain locked and in-person visits are by appointment only. Sanitisation measures are in place for both the office and staff, with ample supplies of PPE - hand gel, anti-bacterial wipes and sprays, soap, paper towels, tissues, latex gloves and face masks.
Face to Face contact within the office is kept to a minimum and social distancing measures are in place. Office visits will only be possible where there is a legal requirement for a face-to-face meeting. A protective screen will be in place for any meetings.
Each member of the team will be responsible for regular cleaning during the day of all surfaces and equipment used, for personal hygiene, washing their hands frequently with hot soapy water. Hand sanitiser will be available and any person entering or leaving the premises will be required to sanitise their hands.
Free telephone/online Valuations will be offered to clients and confirmed in writing by e-mail.
3D 360 Degree Virtual Tours are now recommended for most properties. The approximate cost for these will range between £200 to £600.
Face to Face, “In House” Valuations will be offered to clients wishing to place their property on the market. Protective gloves and face masks will be used. We require all internal doors to be left open so that we can walk freely around without physical contact.

Appointments must be cancelled if anyone is feeling unwell.
Viewings are available for most properties, accompanied by ourselves or our vendors. For your safety, we are taking a number of precautions which you can read about below.
To avoid unnecessary exposure, no viewings will be booked without potential buyers going through an effective and thorough registration process. This means that all buyers will be qualified before a viewing is agreed and only proceedable buyers will be allowed to view (with a few exceptions). Unfortunately, we cannot currently provide Open House or Block viewings.
Buyers are requested to visit properties to view the outside first, before requesting a viewing. This will establish whether the location is appropriate, parking is sufficient, the plot is flat or steep, the proximity to Public transport and Schools.
To make sure buyers only visit properties that are highly suited to their needs, we are actively encouraging sellers to use 3D 360 Degree Virtual Tours to market their properties, and this will be introduced as quickly as possible.
Viewers and owners will be asked to confirm that they are in good health. There will be a maximum of two people per viewing with no children. Residents will be encouraged to vacate the property and all parties should maintain two metre social distancing. Doors will be left open and nothing should be touched. Gloves and masks should be worn during viewings. We are trying to limit viewing time to 15 minutes inside the property.
Ideally, viewers should not use Public transport, we will not drive viewers to or from properties. We will, and you should carry, antiseptic hand gel and wipes with you at all times.
