The town of Wallington, in the London Borough of Sutton, is also part of Greater London. Wallington is very conveniently situated between Croydon to the East and Sutton to the West. Today Wallington is a thriving town offering a whole host of amenities.
The name Wallington derives from the Anglo Saxon name ‘Waletone’ meaning ‘village of the Britons’ and appears in the Domesday book of 1086.
